5G Americas issues the following statement:
5G Americas expresses our support for President Biden’s nomination of Anna Gomez to the FCC, as well as the renomination of Commissioners Geoffrey Starks and Brendan Carr to another term. It is vitally important that the FCC provides strong leadership to help the United States lead in mobile wireless communications. Ms. Gomez draws from an impressive well of experience from roles at the White House, NTIA, FCC, the private sector and as the current U.S. Head of Delegation to WRC-23. She understands the significance of wireless cellular technologies harmonized throughout the Americas, and we look forward to her leadership at the FCC and the timely confirmation of all of the FCC nominations at the Senate.
