As it happens at a social, political and economic level, the Caribbean region has similarities between its territories at the level of Communication and Information Technologies (ICT). In the same way, there are also divergences in terms of connectivity, access to broadband and competition in each of the markets.
This white paper provides an overview of the state of connectivity in the Caribbean and its use in various initiatives that, in different markets, aim to increase the quality of life for people in areas such as e-Government, TeleHealth, TeleEducation and Telecommuting, among others.
