Jim Nevelle joined Ericsson in October 2019 as part of the Kathrein acquisition where he was formerly President and CEO of Kathrein USA responsible for strategy and development of wireless infrastructure including mobile communication antennas, broadcast solutions, connected car solutions, and radio frequency products for North America.
Prior to Kathrein, he was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sorrento Networks – a global provider of optical solutions for telecom service providers and cable operators. He oversaw all day-to-day operations of the sales, marketing, and engineering departments. Mr Nevelle also held numerous management positions at Verso Technologies, Verilink Corporation and XEL Communications.
He is co-author of four U.S. patents pertaining to broadband architectures and deployments and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Masters in Technology Management from the University of Denver. Jim is an Alumni of University of Washington’s 1991 National Championship Football Team.
