Bob Everson

Senior Director, 5G Architecture


Bob Everson is the Senior Director – 5G Architecture for Cisco Systems; leading strategy, architecture, technology, and systems development. In this role he is responsible for defining and developing mobile network solutions across both the service provider and enterprise domains.


Bob’s experience spans diverse areas including early work in large-scale IP networking and massive-scale data center architectures, to more recent focus on secure software-defined mobile networks, 5G systems and applications, and Open Virtual RAN systems.

Humberto LaRoche

Principal Engineer


Humberto J. La Roche is Principal Engineer at Cisco’s Mobility Business Group where he is responsible for introducing virtualized solutions for the mobility space. In his over twenty+ year telecom career, he has been responsible for LTE systems engineering, product management of IMS and wireless softswitch products, product planning of optical networking and broadband access products, and transport network design. He is co-author of over 30 technical papers and multiple patents

Ravi Guntupalli

Director, Software Engineering


Ravi Guntupalli is a Director of Technology at Cisco and heads mobility innovations within the CTO organization. Ravi currently focuses on enhancing the next generation of solutions within Cisco’s Mass-Scale Infrastructure Group by spending time with various global operators, understanding the next set of deployment challenges, and accelerating their rollouts in both consumer and enterprise markets.


With over 20 years of experience, Ravi has helped develop architectures in 3G, 4G, and 5G for various operators around the world.  He helps operators enhance their mobility/wireless solutions and solve migration challenges, develop new use cases, and roll out new deployment models. For the past few years, Ravi has been driving solutions that address enterprise use cases by leveraging capabilities of 4G and 5G architectures.

Santhosh Hosdurg

Director of Technology


Santhosh Hosdurg is the Director of Technology, in the Cisco Provider Mobility Group. He is currently involved in supporting the next generation of solutions within Cisco’s Provider Mobility Group and Networking teams.


He has over 27 years of experience in the wireless network architecture development, Network Engineering, System Performance and Optimization, Operations and Maintenance.


Santhosh has helped develop solutions and architectures in 3G, 4G, and 5G for network operators around the world. He helps operators enhance their mobility/wireless solutions, solve migration

Scott Blue

Principal Engineer


Scott Blue has been facilitating the introduction of new telecom technology for almost 30 years. He was on the founding team of Canada’s largest Internet Service Provider, architect of the world’s first standard based ADSL network, and CEO of an early cloud startup that connected the world’s stock exchanges to the internet.


Over the past 20 years he has led wireless projects that are at the nexus of regulation and standards in the ITU, IEEE and ETSI, and later this year he will lead the Cisco contingent at WRC-23.


Scott joined Cisco from Microsoft, where he directed connectivity policy for close to a decade. At Cisco his team is working with governments, service providers, and stakeholders across many industries, to optimize wireless spectrum allocations for the maximum benefit of the internet and its users in 2030 and beyond.
