Senior Director of Product Management
Alberto Cicalini is Senior Director of Product Management for Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. He is responsible for Qualcomm’s 5G mmW RF products.
Alberto joined Qualcomm RF/Analog IC design team in 2003 as staff engineer, working on Qualcomm’s RFCMOS radio products including RFR6122, RTR6275, QSC6240/70 and WTR1605. Since 2012 he is part of the product management team.
Vice President of Spectrum Policy and Regulatory Counsel
John W. Kuzin is Vice President of Spectrum Policy and Regulatory Counsel with Qualcomm Incorporated. John oversees Qualcomm’s global spectrum policy working closely with the company’s regional spectrum leads, business leads, and worldwide R&D teams. He also represents Qualcomm on regulatory matters before the FCC, ISED Canada, and other agencies. His areas of expertise include new spectrum allocations, licensed and unlicensed spectrum regulations, 5G and 6G technology, RF equipment authorization, positioning technologies, Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything, unmanned aircraft systems, and mobile device accessibility.
Engineer, Principal Systems Research & Development
Dr. Lola Awoniyi-Oteri currently works as a Principal Systems Research & Development engineer within the Qualcomm Research organization. In her current role, she is involved in standardization, research, and development of Extended Reality (XR), 5G mmWave technology and next generation wireless technologies. Her focus is on improving connectivity performance, enhancing the mobile user experience, enabling network mobility support, and reducing network and device power consumption. Her research interests span Cellular networks and a myriad of wireless Local Area Network technologies. Prior to joining Qualcomm, she worked at Texas Instruments developing mobile handsets.
Vice President of Engineering, Engineering Services Group
Manish Tripathi is the Vice President of Engineering for the Engineering Services Group (ESG) at Qualcomm Technologies Inc. Since joining Qualcomm in 1998, he has held a variety of technical and management roles and is now the global lead for the Group's extensive portfolio of technology consulting services which he was instrumental in developing. Tripathi helps a global ecosystem of operators and technology partners deliver the best mobile experience over public and private wireless networks using cellular and Wi-Fi technologies, with services including technology evaluation, design, deployment, and performance troubleshooting. His technical expertise also extends to satellite communication systems, in-vehicle telematics solutions, and wireless charging of electrical vehicles.
